My experience at CARE Fertility has been so seamless. My journey started in a state where I wasn't sure if I would even be able to have one baby and now I am leaving at 10 weeks pregnant with my second. Dr. Kathy has worked with us to achieve my dream of being a mother and I am so grateful for her.
We are happy with the results of our procedures here. However, we were frustrated about the timing of medication shipments. We had egg retrieval drugs for at least 3 months before they were necessary.
Had some issues getting some answers regarding questions throughout experience and would be a little better if given more information/hand outs. When having a complication/bleeding on a Friday when office was open was advised could not work in until MOnday after.
We are very pleased with the positive results and plan on working with Dr. Kathy again. At times, communication with the coordinators could be improved, particulalry regarding medications and timing. Otherwise, the doctor and facility are top-notch and wonderful to work with. For the egg retrieval we received a sample calendar with explanations, which was very helpful. Perhaps having one for the transfer would also be very beneficial.
Dr. Kathleen Doody and the rest of the staff has been amazing from start to finish. Even made sure to work with us on a last minute sonogram a couple weeks ago.
Dr Kathy was very attentive and answered all my questions. It was good to see her on the news providing information on how Roe V Wade impacts fertility care as that was a concern of mine. The staff and nurses are always very organized and courteous.
Dr. Doody and Chelsea were the best at calming all my concerns. They prioritized me when I had bleeding and really put me at ease with my following checkups. After 4 failed pregnancies, I have them to thank with giving us the gift of our little boy! Thankyou!!
Dr. Kathy Doody is a wonderful doctor who helped me get pregnant with both of my first two IVF embryo transfers. I could tell from my first interactions with her that she knew her stuff and that she had been doing this for a long time. I just trusted that she had my best interest in mind. Most of the nurses that I interacted with during my time at the clinic were also fantastic. Unfortunately, there are a few administrative women at the clinic who are impatient and unkind. Since the administrative staff are on the front lines, it's critical that these people treat patients with kindness, especially since this is a process that is painful for so many patients. Towards the beginning of my time at Care Fertility, I was trying to get some answers about prescriptions and someone by the name of Amy (I believe it was Amy.) was so short and rude with me on the phone that it actually brought me to tears. I have had a few other unpleasant conversations with the administrative staff at this clinic as well. Overall, I would come back to this clinic again because of Dr. Doody and because I am leaving with what I wanted most: a baby.
