Dr Hayden is the very best vet I have ever been to. Caring, gentle, and cheepest of all. No modern office for him.

When I last saw him w/ my cat "Alexandar the Great" it was about 3 years ago. He had to be put down because of health issues. Even at that time Dr. Haden told me to consider all the options but I decided it was time.

Having inherrited Alexander from my mother who also lived at Geer before I came, I grew to love him. He was always feisty so when Dr. Hayden did what he had to do Alexendar put up a real battle. It was almost impossible. In the end I cheered for my old friend. The doc myself and his assistant. All had scratched. I Cried all the way home along with my friend.

Dr. Hayden had lost his loving wife about 2 years prior to that. She was Some woman. When I had to put down a previous cat and asked about the cost of creamation. She said, "honey you don't want to go to all that expense. Just did a grave in the back yard."

No fancy records system either but a simple card file - jam packed. There are old antlers on the big messy desk with an old kitty sleeping there. She sometime visits with the patients if they are amenable and it calms them.

It is just like walking into a vet office of a century ago.

Dr. Hayden's speciatly is large animals, especially horses.

He told me at storey of two baby wild cats or some other wild felines in downtown Sharon. No one knew what to do with them. Dr. Hayden to the rescue.

Another nice quality he has is that sometimes he comes in and sits with the owners and chats. Quite a guy.

If I had and another cat or dog I would be back in a minute. Unfortunatlely none are allowed here at Geer Village where I live now.

A caring, extremely experienced, competent veterinarian. He cares about people and their pets. He does what needs to be done.....no more, no less. Reasonably priced is another plus.

Dr. Hayden, is a great veterinarian, whose main concern is taking care of animals and not a person's pocketbook. He has helped out on many occasion and I am indebted him. I will be sorry to see him retire.

This man is what veterinarians should be. He is knowledgeable, reassuring, and his focus is on the welfare of your pets, not how much he can make off of you. A true James Herriot sort of guy, absolutely lovely.

Dr. and Mrs. Harvey Hayden have for over 30 years provided exceptional care for our various horses, dogs, and cats. 24 hour emergency calls were
always responded to immediately, even involving late night trips to our horse stable during a snow storm. They have saved the lives of all of our
"family member" pets many times. We have nothing but praise and thanks
for them and dread the day when they retire from their medical practice.
