While my dad was here he had some great nurses but the director Alison was awful to the family. She was rude and very uncaring. We as a family had nowhere to rest and when ask for extra blankets we were told that they are on a budget. When my dad passed away (end of December) we were told that we would have to wait in the parking lot while he was cleaned up. Mind you this was the coldest weather we have had in a long time and it was raining. The rules changed on us seemed like every night. I felt as if they were trying to run us off
Everyone at Cottingham Hospice House was wonderful and compassionate toward my husband and my family. I want to say thank you to each person that cared for my husband. - Rita Blackwell
My father was recently a patient at this facility and I cannot more highly recommend it. He received competent, kind, personal care. All of the employees I met performed their jobs well and cheerfully. He was never treated like anything less than fully human, mature man.
They were very sympathetic to my situation, and made me feel cared for. I knew that I could count on them at all times. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. They've stayed open past their closing times many times when I've needed help. They've never turned me away when I've needed them.
