Dr Hawkins and his staff are still taking good care of me today. I have been his patient for 7 years now. I don't mind to see the other staff members either. I am so greatful to receive help after years and years of no help or what to do. My last two visits were with Mr. Sam. Very professional, polite, helpful, and a humble heart. I loved seeing Mr. Sam! He was very alert and caring to help me. I recommend Dr Hawkins, very knowledgeable and he hears you. They are there to help so you can live better.

Terrible experience(s). It starts from the beginning to the end. They NEVER answer the phone. You actually have to go to the office to speak with someone or schedule an appointment. There is also a way that you can contact them via email on their website. They do not respond to that either. Guys who work there are very odd and zombie like. I know I shouldn't judge, but the population that they service is real dependant like. Methadone like patients coming in and out. As far as Dr. Hawkins he is never in the office. It's just a disorganized, terrible ran train wreck. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy.

Very unprofessional and ill-mannered front office staff. At my request, I only see Dr. Hawkins. Unfortunately, at each scheduled visit the wait is ALWAYS no less than 45 - 60 minutes past the appointed time. Additionally, there have been numerous occasions when my regular follow-up appointments have been re-scheduled and later re/rescheduled to accommodate the Dr. Hawkins' outside business activities or vacation plans. However, when I attempted to cancel an appointment (due to a severe migraine attack), then reschedule a re/re-scheduled appointment, I was informed by a very "rude & ill-tempered" clerical staff member that I would be charged a $45.00 "same-day cancellation fee" since I failed to give 24 hour advance notice. Notwithstanding the fact that I reminded her that I had been re/rescheduled to accommodate the Dr. Hawkins' plans, she insisted that it was their policy and I would be charged the fee regardless the reason. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT CARE >>> they are just "IN TO WIN IT"... GET PAID!!! While Dr. Hawkins (himself), when he does see you will listen attentively (or at least he as least he's learned to give that impression) for only a very brief few moments before offering to change/renew/add/modify prescription medications. Hardly seems worth the extremely long time spent waiting in the overly confining small waiting room, inappropriate Muzak® (Background Music for Business), and NON-PRIVACY area of "Patient Service" at the front desk. After more than a year of very frustrating "customer non-service", mismanaged M/H wellness care, numerous failures to contact my preferred pharmacy with Rx refills authorizations, and the other previously stated issues, I have requested my records and transferring my care to another MH provider. If that weren't already enough, they are now requesting an additional $50.00 to provide ME a copy of MY personal medical records. Well... ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

He's a physician drug dealer.... You will see many patients doped up and asleep on the coach and chairs! I went with my loved one... I was concerned that they were over medicated.... After sitting in the lobby and observing.... I was horrified! To see that other families could be concerned as we have been! People are in and out within 10-15 min... That's not patient care.... What could he find out about concerns anyone could have? He has cameras all over his office and a huge tv screen in his office to see all the camera angles.. With all the cameras.... He should be able to see what he is doing to someone's love one! DEA NEEDS TO GO BUST THIS JOKER!

No
Was this provider's staff friendly?
No
Did your provider ask enough questions that you felt they took a holistic approach to your appointment?
They weren't interested what was going on for me so they asked very few questons.
Did this psychiatrist listen to your input and concerns?
Somewhat. But I mostly felt ignored.
Does this psychiatrist always take that extra step to make you feel special?
Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond

I had to wait 45+minutes EVERY time I came in for my appointment after the appointment time, even though I can in early, so was waiting for over an hour each time. This caused me to run over my hour lunch break time, and even though I talked to staff about it, it was never resolved. Just recently I have tried to schedule another appointment and no response on the phone, and no returned calls to the 5 messages I left. While the practitioner I saw was great (she really understood me and helped me), I am finding another provider. Use caution with this place, I would hate to see what happens in an emergency situation.

Doctor owes me a refund of $18.00 from January 2013. I have contacted their billing department (alisa@medbilldirect.com) and Alisa has contacted Michelle Elizondo ffice on July 16, 2013. I again contacted Michelle by email on Aug. 6, 2013 asking for my refund. This is AFTER I had spoken to Michelle on the phone about this two times. I even complained to the BBB and STILL NO RESPONSE! Really Dr. Hawkins, do you really take care of business this poorly?
