Spacious, private rooms with attached half baths for all short-term rehab patients; private and semi-private rooms with attached half baths located on all other units. I wouldn't send my dog to this place. Getting information regarding family members is like pulling teeth. Instructions relayed to nursing staff regarding specific needs for the patient were ignored or acknowledged only after several attempts to have them carried out. Some of my father's clothes came up missing and no one seemed to know where they were. This place is only in business for the money. They have very little regard for the patients or their families.
Do NOT send any family member there if you care about them at all.

This place should have been closed down a long time ago. It is filfthy and the staff lies about the patient/resident when a family member calls to check on them. Possessions were stolen. My mother was hurt. They promised to walk her during the day when she was in a wheel chair. That never happened because one day I went to take her out of her wheel chair because she wanted to get in bad and she went to stand up but couldn't stand or walk. There were so many terrible things that happened that I am sick that I did not get her out of there and take her someplace else. But I have to live with that. There has to be more supervision on night shifts. The staff hangs around the nurses station talking and laughing and being on the phone. a lot! They lie incessantly about things that happened. I wrote a letter to eh administrator at that time after my mother passed away. didn't do any good. The night my mother was dying I asked the male nurse to call the priest and he said he got a message. I told him to leave a message and that the priest will answer right away. My mother did not have a priest when she passed. The word Brookhaven makes me sick to my stomach.

The facility was under staffed often making patients wait 45 minutes to go to the restroom and then berating them when they didn't make it there without an accident. Bugs in the bathrooms. Meals were very small, not enough for a child much less a healing adult. Staff constantly complained about the cutbacks of the owners and how it impacked patients.
