This review is for Dr Bates at the GREENSBORO office on Summit. How would you feel if your child came out bawling telling you that the dentist "sang" shut-up at them for part of their filling work? Or that your child was having trouble breathing through his nose and instead of listening to him, they kept loudly telling him to "breath through his nose" even though they have been told he has trouble breathing normally? It's COMPLETELY unacceptable as a professional to tell an 8 year old terrified child to shut up- I don't care how tired you are, if you sang it, or he was being hard to handle which I'm sure he was (along with other children) seeing how non- compassionate they are.

I've been with him here twice before and while I wasn't hugely impressed it didn't go like this time. We couldn't afford to go to previous dentist this year (who was amazing and he did great with them btw) but just bc we are financially strapped and attend a high volume pediatric dentist office should we seriously expect our children to be told to shut up??

I was so angry I had to leave after I let them know I knew what happened, before I really lost it. It wasn't the office lady's fault, she was sweet and offered to get the manager but I was beyond livid. I will say the ladies up front are gems and deserve raises for how hard they work to help upset parents.

Unacceptable and I will be SINGING my 8 year olds story in EVERYONES ear - BELIEVE IT.

I have been going to this dentist for more years than I can count but I will say I had a very upsetting and disheartening visit with them yesterday when one of my babies had a problem after his visit. I called went back in for him to be examined to find out why he was in pain and I had a terrible interaction with a dentist haven't spoken to before. He had a terrible disposition, made it seem as if our presence was a waster of his time, stared at us as if we were a problem! He also had terrible interpersonal skills, lack of personality and bottom line upset me to the point where I will not take my children back. Though I know our lack of presence will not hurt their bottom line in the least, I cannot and will not be going back to this practice!

I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. It was nice of them to offer some sample toothbrushes and toothpaste for me to take home. I was able to figure out which toothpaste I liked without having to buy anything. I never saw the dentist my son saw only the techs. My son has autism and they were unwilling to work with him or allow me to go back with him because he was to old for a parent. The tech came out and said they can't and won't work with him and they don't know what to tell me he will just have the cavity. They are not prepared to deal with children that have disabilities or are just that scared of the dentist and they won't allow you to be with them if they become unwilling to work with the dentist witch would have calmed him down. The dentist office wasn't friendly in the least. I have never felt more unwelcome somewhere. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications.
