I tried to do a negative star, but it wouldnt allow it. First off, the staff in the office are very friendly. Thats pretty much where it ends. The first time i brought my kids into the office, they were seen by dentist who recommended treatment plans that would be carried out the following visit. Imagine my surprise when, during the next visit, they were seen by ANOTHER dentist who recommended and used a different treatment plan rather than the one I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. In addition, the gave my two eldest children COLORED fillings for cavities that were the size of a pinhead. At no time was it explained to me that the fillings would be colored; rather, they used words that have totally different meanings than what they intended. Colored, or composite as they like to call them, fillings are hardly ever used by REAL pediatric dentist for children because they do not last as long as silver fillings. Colored was not the only option these people had bc they gave my youngest silver fillings. I bet had i walked in there with Medicaid, they would have automatically given my children the silver fillings that i wanted! In addition, most insurance companies do not pay for composites in children, especially when the filling is done in the back of the mouth. Totally disgusted with this practice and will NOT be back! Because they are filing my insurance for services they did NOT perform, this is insurance fraud. I hope they realize that MY insurance does not pay for composites on children- and i will not be paying for what i did not ask for. They should also feel lucky that I did not put a "stop payment" on that check like i so wanted to.

I take my granddaughters to smile starter. The only thing I am not happy with is the fact that you have to stay in the waiting area while the kids are being serviced and are not allowed to enter the room while they are being serviced. If you get thirsty or hungry, you can't step next door for a drink or a bite to eat. I understand this policy applying to the younger children, but for older ones is a bit ridiculous. What if the waiting person is diabetic or have some other urgent medical condition that needs attentions while waiting.

Not very well. I had to really look for it before I found it.
