This office has bent over backwards to help me and my son. I lives in Richmond and he lives in Hatterass but they have went above the call of duty compared to any dentist I have ever gone to. They gave us a treatment plan that was done in a few visits so we could afford the treatment. They call with reminders....Awesome!!!
Thanks you to Dr Mead and all staff....being so far away is a bit tough but I am thrilled and so thankful that I know my sons dental health is being addressed and in such a professional and kind way.

I was away on vacation when i broke a tooth, I called Dr. Slagle's office toget it looked at. The receptionist on the phone was very nice asked questions and made sure I wasn't in any pain. she set up an appointment within the hour. When i got there the staff was very nice, they took me back did x-rays and I met with the Dr. He showed me the x-ray and explained everything to me about the broken tooth.
Being away from home and braking a tooth is not fun, but Dr. Slagel and his entire staff were pleasent and professional aboutthe whole ordeal and made me feel comfortable.

Dr. Slagle and his entire staff are extremely uncompassionate and cold, like it's a privilege for the patient to be there. Every time I went there I left with more problems than I had before the appointment. The hygienist broke a $3000 bridge while flossing my teeth and refused to accept responsibility when I inquired about it. Dr. Slagle also refused to take any responsibility for it, and said if I wanted it fixed they would do it, but I would be responsible for paying for all of it. I completely understand that this is now my responsibility, but if the hygienist or Slagle would have apologized or taken any responsibility for what happened, then the situation would have been different, and I would have felt like a person and not just a row of teeth to fix. A year and 1/2 later I still have a broken bridge.
Dr. Slagle lets issues with teeth go until they become more serious issues, and then much more money needs to be spent to fix the problem.
Recently my husband called the office to schedule his son an appointment. He was left on hold for 20 minutes, and when someone finally picked up the phone that person had no idea who my husband was or why he was on hold. Finally, he was scheduling an appointment, and then they said they "aren't accepting Medicaid for 6 months or so." The child needs a dentist! Medicaid is a government program, how can they not be accepting it?
The examples are endless of how awful this dentist treats his patients. Dr. Slagle's office is located on the Outer Banks in Frisco, NC. It really illustrates how professional Dr. Mead Slagle's office is, when the majority of the locals travel at least 2-3 hours to a different dentist office.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
