I thought the staff was somewhat friendly. They didn't do too much to welcome me, even though they were not busy. I was very disappointed. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. While we were there for the weekend, a friend of mine had a temporary cap come off. To put it in context, this is after Hurricane Irene and they only way on or off the island was by ferry. Anyway, we stopped in to see if Dr Mead would/could do a temporary emergency fix until we could get back home. (It had happened before so we knew the "re-glueing" would've taken less than 15 minutes.) The parking lot contained two vehicles which I think I can be safe to assume that one belonged to the dentist and one to the receptionist. The waiting room was empty and we were told by the receptionist that she had no openings in the schedule, couldn't fit in an emergency and turned us away. We found a pharmacy in Hatteras which carried temporary cap cement and did the temporary repair ourselves in less than five minutes. To top it off, we drove past the office many times within the next 4 hours and the same two vehicles were parked in the same location with no additional vehicles in the lot! I would never recommend such an uncaring dentist's office to anyone and will certainly never visit this dentist after I move to Frisco, NC even though the office proximity is extremely convenient!

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!

The chairs in their waiting room were definitely above average. I was comfortable. They always go above and beyond to make sure I understand every single detail about my dental procedures. I'm always able to get all my questions answered, and I'm never nervous about starting a procedure. The waiting room here is spacious. I never feel like I have to sit too close to someone or that it is overcrowded. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. It was very noticeable that they practiced good oral hygiene themselves. If it wasn't obvious I probably would've doubted that they were any good, but I could tell right away.
