Dr Durbin was very caring and professional. My daughter had impacted teeth and we had a consultation with another orthodontist that our dentist wanted us to see, That orthodontist was unsure of what to do and then we went to see Dr Durbin. Dr Durbin knew exactly how to handle the condition and her treatment went well. We are very happy we went with Dr Durbin.

I suggest avoiding this office. Although my daughter's actual consultation visit was ok (not great), my problem came after. Despite leading me to believe that the initial consultation would be free, they billed my dental insurance. But orthodontic consultations are not covered by insurance, so they claimed it was a "dental exam," which then caused her regular dental visit to be denied because only two per year are covered. What's worse, when I called Dr. Durbin's office to discuss it, the receptionist insisted that I must have been informed that there would be a charge (which I unequivocally was not) and that this was just the way it is. I said it seems unfair to me, since they got their money for a "dental exam" (which it wasn't) while her actual dental exam was denied, but the cost was just passed on to me for a visit that was "free," and I am stuck paying the bill. Unbelievably, when I commented that it doesn't seem right, the receptionist actually hung up on me. The lack of professionalism is stunning. That and the feeling like I have been cheated means that I will absolutely not be taking my daughter here for orthodontic treatment. If this is how the office is run, I suppose it is better to know before shelling out thousands of dollars. I suggest you look elsewhere if you are in the market for an orthodontist.

Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible

I had my braces done by Dr Durbin several years ago. The treatment went without a hitch. In fact, my braces came off a month early. I would highly recommend Dr Durbin
