Very unhappy with the fairly recent change in Dr. Passwater's patient care. My family had been with her since she opened and recently every appt made there has resulted in a last minute phone call by the staff to either cancel or reschedule. I mean LAST minute. The last straw was when my 15 yr old needed a root canal and when I called to express concern that she get enough sedation the Dr. referred us out to a specialist. This was done 3 hrs before her scheduled appt with Dr. Passwaters and she had had weeks to decide this. ( We ended up seeing Belmar Endodontist, Dr McKee and he is absolutely phenomenal). Our records/x-rays had been requested by the specialist and surprise! they weren't there 2 weeks later for our appt. I'm just done with that practice.

my wife made me go to the dentist after 12 years of not going. when i went into the office, i was told i had no cavaties but needed to replace existing mercury fillings with porseline ones. needless to say, i agreed. after fillings, one of the teeth chipped as a result of a filling being to high when i bit. the dentist told me a grinded my teeth when i slept even though my wife has monitored and disagrees with. anyways, the dentist took me in for an emergency crown and shortly after an abscess formed under my tooth due to an infection. a root canal was then performed. i have little to no faith that it was done correctly as the dentist still has not permanently set the crown (it's been about a year) and refuses to every time i come in. well, the last visit she told me i had cavaties in 2 areas without taking x-rays and pushed me for more fillings. i had it and have quit. i'm a pretty nice guy but this dentist doesn't get it. she won't explain what is wrong or why. she's since to say anything about me grinding my teeth. it's been a nightmare. i'm now having complications on that side of my throat and ear which i'm assuming may be some form of infection from this ongoing issue. i'm seeing another dentist on saturday. the last time i went in, the staff was completely new which is never a good sign. i would steer away from here. everything was good for 12 years and since, i've basically lost a live tooth, have spent hundreds of dollars on operations and continue to have issues.

I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. They did a "root canal" on myself and my daughter. We both had to have them redone by other dentists because they hurt so bad for weeks afterwards. Our bill was paid in full when we left, but special "charges" cropped up after we told them we were leaving which were immediately sent to collections. I would never return.

They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. I trust them to only recommend dental procedures I actually need. I know they care more about my health than they do about making money. The building is handicap-accessible. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. The staff really knows what they're doing, and are friendly and patient. The doctor made herself accessible and addressed all my questions in a friendly and professional manner.
