I had a black toe nail that bled a bit and I was concerned since I bumped it against something. On recommedation fm my Primary Care physician, I saw a doctor at Maddon-Young. The 'podiatrist' I saw sent me to a dermatologist because she claimed she did not see a nail on my toe. She did not even touch my foot!! I did see the dermatologist who wanted to know why that particular podiatrist would send me to him and told me there was a nail and to soak it in warm water and vinegar and the nail should drop off. I paid $35 copay to the podiatrist and $40 for the dermatologist just for a black toe nail. I did soak my foot in the vinegar and warm water solution for a few days. It finally fell off two weeks later. Next time, I will wait before I become alarmed over something that may not be serious. Also I alerted my Primary Care doctor about what had happened. He did say he will not refer any of his patients to this practice in the future.

This doctor has not been able to resolve my problems - plantar warts and toenail fungus in several years of treatment. I am looking for a new doctor with better treatment skills and expertise with my problems.

I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. It was not easy to reach them in an emergency. I had to call several times before I finally reached them. I was pretty surprised with how far away this business was from everything. It took me forever to get there and I kept getting lost. I had the hardest time finding their office, and I usually have a good sense of direction. Watching how nice she is to the patients and then the very next moment HOW NASTY SHE IS TOWARD THE STAFF really explains WHY SHE HAS THE HIGHEST TURNOVER IN STAFF. I spoke to soo many patients in the waiting area, because she was running almost TWO HOURS behind, that she NEVER KEEPS staff and everytime they come, there is always new people. One lady stated that she has been to her FOUR time in the last two months due to foot problems and EACH TIME, SHE HAD YET ANOTHER NEW STAFF PERSON! Well after watching how nasty she treats them, I decided, I will take my business and feet ELSEWHERE!
