I made an appointment for my ten year old son to help deal with some behavioral issues that have surfaced and needed some wise counsel to come up with new means of encouragement/discipline. First of all the office was inside a law office with no signs saying a doctor was inside. When I called confused I was treated disrespectfully like I should have known that a large attorneys office was also a doctors office. I was welcomed by a young woman with an attitude and when I went into the office was repremanded for bringing my son when no one told me not to. The doctor was quick to make wrong assumptions about my child feeling rejected because of two new siblings (whom he absolutely loves) and I was asked what form of discipline I use. I told her I spank and take away privlages and send him to his. Room. Well apparently all she heard was spank, because she spent the next twenty minutes telling me how stupid and terrible it is to spank. It is appauling and rediculous. It is the worst thing you can do, well I understand people believe differently and I tried to explain that i NEVER spank when i am angry, but i was there to learn so I asked her what she suggests,and she said "there is no easy fix" with an attitude. I began to cry, trying to convey that I love my child and want to help him. She kept talking about crazy irrelevant stories about why spanking is no good. She talked about appointments and said she would take five minutes with my son. Well my son told me when we got home that she said, "it is wrong that your mother spanks you and she shouldn't be doing it", and that's all she talked about. How dare you Ms falk, to counsel me is one thing but to undermine me to my child is absolutely absurd. You totally lack professionalism and should be ashamed of yourself! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

No, I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted
