We had experience with the assisted living, rehab, and continuing care wings at Adams Place during my father's 14 month stay at Adams Place (prior to his passing). We were very satisfied with the quality of care across the board. Nurses and other staff members made a concerted effort to help him feel welcome, taken care of and loved. The facitiies are outstanding as well. I would not hesitate to have another family member live at Adams Place should it be necessary.
I am disappointed in this facility. They are understaffed and do not care to answer the patient’s call button. We’ve waited up to a half hour for them to even see why she hit the call button! What if she had fell or something bad had happened and they had waited a half hour to even see why she had pushed the button in the first place???? I would not recommend this place to anyone, I would tell you to ask people ahead of time and truly check it out with your own eyes before you make the decision to leave your loved one there. Also, the staff has no problem throwing each other under the bus to make themselves look better, even when we know it’s been a lie! Shame on that nurse! Sincerely DISSAPOINTED
