If you're local and just need shots for your pet, teeth cleaning or spay/neuter, this is a great office.

Most of the staff is friendly but the front office assistants like to argue and tell you what your pet needs. All of their front desk help, except for Terry, have an attitude and make you feel like you're bothering them.

Both Dr. Mayne and Dr. Rains are very nice and very helpful. They do an excellent job with what they have, but they are a bit behind the times with equipment and misdiagnosed a problem with one of my pets. Thank goodness for the internet as I was able to find a specialist who saved my pets life.

The vet techs, with one exception, are gentle and kind with your animals and take their jobs seriously and with compassion.

No one is perfect, but if you live here, this is the best place to take your pet, unless you go down the hill to Northside Vet clinic.

My usual vet was unable to board my dogs on short notice so I took them here. My vet faxed over their current vaccines and my dogs needed 2 updated. Staff seemed busy and preoccupied when I went to fill out the paperwork. I read it over and noticed they had 4 vaccines listed for them. I called my vet and they verified only 2 were needed, that's what they sent. When i brought this to the receptionist's attention, she seemed annoyed that I questioned the mistake. I asked if they could also check one dog's ear for me as he's been scratching it? She said that would be an additional $44.00 office visit charge. You would think for a $300.00 boarding and vaccine bill they could throw in a free ear check?... my vet does. I was not impressed and will not be back.
