They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Some of their staff was not friendly at all and condescending at times, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed. They never give you any updates about your animal even keeping them for an extra day and not bothering to tell you. They will not call if your pet is ready to go home with hopes that they can board them overnight and charge you extra. They give one price on the phone, which is always $50 to $100 more when you get there even if it's less than half an hour later. They do not listen to the animals owners and despite several warnings gave medicine to my animal that made him sicker than he was before. They have no respect for the animals and treat them like they are a number in line at the deli instead of an individual with specific needs. They have refused to see a sick animal on several occasions because of a mild temperment issue and advised to put it to sleep because they didn't want to see it for a mild infection. My new vet hasn't had any issues with my pet and is appalled at what I was told by them.
Charlie is one of the best vets around! He is understanding of individual "quirks", realistic, flexible, and honest. Charlie has been treating my horse for 4 years and I have yet to complain about price, competence, or "bed side manner" w/ my sensitive mare. She has spent 10 days at his personal farm for extended care and was treated like the princess she is. Thank heavens for Charlie.
