Staff is unconcerned with personal care of patients. They don't seem to have even common sense. I've told them my father is lactose intolerant do not give him milk. They give it to him anyway. He gets sick and they don't even document it because that would mean they'd have to take responsibility. He always has diarhea or desentary and they give him laxatives and stool softeners daily. This place is so bad, it's imperative that I go there daily and unannounced different times of the day just to make sure he's getting minimal care. The place looks ok but, it smells horrible. By the 6th step you're ready to throw up because they take their time changing the patients, and most of the time in the evening anyway they may let the patients lie in their own feces or urine for hours at a time until your eyes start to burn. I'm gonna give them one more chance at getting things straight before I seek the advice of an attourney. My father was in the fourth stages of phnemonia before they called an ambulance to transport him to a hospital. So it may be necessary to start logging incidents in a notebook with names of staff so you will have documentation should you have to speak with an omnibudsman or attourney. You can verbally or write in details what is best concerning patient care but it falls on death ears. So please document incidents.
