This weather makes it very difficult to work. I know what I need to do. There's a ton to do around the house, business needs worked on, the kids have things to do and gardening definitely needs done. Better yet, there are places to go, beaches to sit on, vacations to be had and the best parties of the year.
Who has time to stress over exercise? Who is going to take an hour in the middle of a gorgeous day to ride a bike in a gym? Not me.
As a dedicated fitness professional who loves what she does, I suggest you let go a little. Think outside the box. As a matter a fact, get out of the box.
Do you think I take hours away from my vacation to schedule exercising? Nope. I don't recommend it either. Make time to play, move, eat well and be happy.
That's the thing about exercise. Life happens and it's hard to fit in. And that's why I love my job. People come to me so that I can come to them. All my clients know what they need to do but life is very hectic and they need to 'fit it in' but can't waste a second in the gym.
In essence, committing to regular exercise is difficult. What's easy is making time to move, play (actively), eat well, enjoy family and friendships. And have peace of mind about all of the above.
Time is precious. My time, your time and especially summer time.
