Dr. Bandealy is very good at what he does, and has helped alleviate my arthritis pain. I am thankful for thim. That said, it is typically a stressful visit. I may have to wait an hour from my appointment time to see the doctor or the P.A., but if I arrive late they send me on my way with a $40 rescheduling charge. Call 24 hours in advance to reschedule due to family emergancy? . . .nope, not sufficient, $40 charge. They seem far more interested in my payment than my well being. The office staff is civil, but not welcoming. I am often rerouted to the answering service even during office hours, and cannot count on a return phone call, be it to reschedule or renew a prescription. But if the insurance company denies a claim, they will call quickly and repeatedly. The nurses seem caring, but the office staff very much needs to improve their level of customer service. Again, he is a good doctor, and that is the only reason I have not changed providers. But every time I go in, I consider searching for a new rheumatologist.
