I wanted to reach out to you to let you know that my dad passed away this morning at 2:15 am. We did everything we could for him but his body just couldn’t keep up. His heart continued for at least five minutes after he took his final breath. You were a tremendous support going way above and beyond for my family. I am truly grateful I met you and for your healing hands on his heart which unfortunately could not sustain the rest of him. God bless you as I will continue to tell others what a talented and caring surgeon we were so fortunate to have as part of our lives during our time of need. Thank you again, Dr. Ravi. ❤️

Did my bypass surgery and is terrific! I’m 76 years old and unlike so many other drs he has true empathy and concerns for his patients. A genuine nice person as well as a compassionate surgeon.

There is no need to go further than Lufkin for heart bypass surgery. Doctor RaviKumar performed a quadruple bypass on my heart and he did it at CHI St. Luke's Memorial Hospital in Lufkin. This Doctor has the skill necessary to practice anywhere he wants, and yet he is in Lufkin! The care I received pre-op and post-op at the hospital was also first-rate. And here is the best part. Ramaswamy RaviKumar, MD is not just a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon. He is a man who cares about he patients as more than just a patient. I had complete confidence in him from our very first meeting!
