I'm not sure who exactly the other reviewers saw but I had an amazing first visit with Dr. Rahimi. I have a complicated case of 30+ years of neuropathic, joint, and muscular pain from old surgeries and decades of pain management prior to moving to Indianapolis. She took more than enough time to hear my full story. We discussed what has and has not worked for me in the past and she came up with a new game plan on how to get things under control. She made it clear that she would be there for me if I had questions or things weren't working as planned. I'd highly recommend her.

I've attended this clinic three times to help with severe, chronic pain due to my disability. I saw Dr. Rahimi, and the first time I saw her she prescribed another muscle relaxant even though I'm already taking the max dose of Baclofen as well as Flexaril, Valium and Gabapentin for my stiff muscles and pain. She told me to replace the Flexaril with the new medication and to stop taking the Flexaril. She also prescribed an over the counter supplement. When I returned for my second visit I waited 2 hours past my appointment time to see her. At one point, after sitting in the room for nearly an hour, I went out into the hallway and sat in my wheelchair in the middle of the hallway hoping to get someone's attention. Not only did multiple nurses and medical assistants just walk right past me with nothing to say, Dr. Rahimi herself walked right past me and into her office across the hall. Finally, Dr. Rahimi's medical student asked me if I need something and I told her I need to see my doctor or I'm leaving. She asked who my doctor was and I told her. She then said she did not think that Dr. Rahimi was my doctor and went into Dr. Rahimi's office across the hall to confirm. The door was open, and I heard the entire conversation, so I know Dr. Rahimi heard me. The medical student was told I was her patient and to see me. She then stared asking me multiple questions thar were already answered at my first appointment, and it still took Dr. Rahimi nearly 30 min to finally come to the room. I told her none of the medication was helping, so she merely increased the dose. This made me like a zombie and all I did was sleep. I was then told by my neurologist that the medication she put me on would not be helpful for my condition so I stopped taking it. Today was my final appointment with Dr. Rahimi. It took over an hour after my scheduled appointment time to see her. I told her I stopped taking the medication she gave me because of the side effects and she asked if I was still taking the Flexaril. I said that she took me off of it, and she said it was still in my chart on my medication list. They never updated the medication list when she changed my medicine at the first appointment, and she had no explanation as to why it was not updated. She blamed me for not telling the nurse that I wasn't taking the medication that she discontinued. At that point she suggested another treatment and I told her I would consider it, but I would not be receiving it from her because of the complete lack of organization in the entire office from the front staff to the MA's and nurses and the doctors. It's unacceptable to have to wait that long for a doctor who is not even going to listen to your needs. It's unacceptable to be ignored by your doctor and multiple staff members while waiting in the hallway after being there for 2 hours after your appointment time. This place is disorganized, slow, and does not seem to care about or listen to the patient's needs. They take your money, but don't help you at all. I recommend St. Francis in Indianapolis for any pain management needs.
