Dr Hicks is truly one of the most intelligent, caring, and compassionate doctors I have ever met. He takes the time to listen and when he says he will diagnose the problem and make you feel better, he means it!

His office staff are very kind and respectful, always. His nurse, Jim is the best, not only does he do a great job,
but he has a great personality and sense of humor, which goes a long way, especially in his job.

Dr. Hicks saved my mother in law's life after he diagnosed her with having a blood clot which he immediately suspected within minutes of examining her, something that was missed by her primary care doctor. A year later, after her primary care doctor made serveral unnecessary changes to her medications, she had a severe reaction, after a useless appointment with her primary care doctor, I took her to see Dr Hicks, he immediately determined she was having an
autoimmune disease reaction from the medication change, which he verified by lab work.

I would highly reccomend to anyone needing a cardiologist or internist, go see Dr.Hicks, he is truly one of the best doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I went in for on a referral and Dr John Hicks told me that my psych meds were the reason for my problems and he told me it was time to get over my combat PTSD and to live in the now.... I didn't go for a psychiatric treatment I went for a a passing out problem! He told me that PTSD was curable and I need to get over it. Although he said he wasn't a psychiatrist or a psychologist he continued to tell me my condition wasn't real because I have all my limbs and I wasn't paralyzed... He asked why I had PTSD when I responded with it was my job to transport our nations deceased fallen soldier repeatedly on a daily basis, he responded with people die everyday from the moment they are born we start dying so get over it!!!!! So do I recommend Dr John Hicks, absolutely NOT!!!
