Be careful when dealing with Apex. They told my family that they participated with an insurance carrier, and advised us not to worry about anything when we got notices from the carrier that there was a problem. Apex told us everything was fine, keep showing up for appointments and pay the co-pay amounts, and they would handle all of the rest with the insurance company. Several months later, they told us there was indeed a problem, and we then owed well over $1000 - and by the way, sorry, there is no way to appeal or fix that. They need to admit to their mistake, not fleece their patients. Shame on Apex - steer clear and find another practice.
