I originally met Dr. Craig when I was critically disabled with lumbar issues. My current low-touch chiro just wasn't helping me, so I sought out someone else, who was also closer to home. Not only did Dr. Craig help me get up off the floor (almost literally), he interviewed me extensively (in a very informal and non-threatening way) to find out my history of back issues, injuries, etc. Based on this, he diagnosed me with acute and chronic sciatica (which I had expected); built a care plan for me, really tailoring it around my lifestyle and availability; explained in detail what I could expect both in treatment and in terms of recovery (he was honest about what was going to hurt and for how long, which actually made it easier to take because I wasn't worried about the outcome) and he was right on the money with all predictions. He also gave me a series of quick, easy daily exercises to do and explained that I needed to adjust my lifestyle somewhat to adjust for the reality of my back issues. Of course I was bummed, but he was honest and he was right. I didn't feel scolded, only guided.

To this day, I can say that as long as I follow his advice, I'm okay. I trust him and believe what he tells me, because he's always been right. And I am deeply grateful for the times he has relieved nearly unbearable pain.

When I do something stupid or have an accident that tweaks my back, he gets me in right away. I've even called him late in the evening and he's come to his office to treat me without an appt., and did so cheerfully. To top it all off, he's a really personable guy and we laugh a lot when I'm there. Who can say that about their chiro? Highly recommended.
