I recently started seeing Dr. Ryder around 24 weeks pregnant because I've had some severe pain related to Symphisis Pubis Disorder (extra and premature separation of the two pubic bones), as well as some sciatic pain and general back pain. The SPD pain has been quite troublesome since around 16 weeks of pregnancy and my Ob Gyn didn't seem very concerned or optimistic that the pain could be treated. I read online that some people found relief through chiropractic care, and I'm very grateful that I sought out Dr. Ryder. On my first visit, Dr. Ryder explained his philosophies that include balancing traditional manipulation with some more modern techniques that I've never seen before. After my second visit and treatment, both the SPD and the sciatic pain were hardly noticeable. I'm so grateful to Dr. Ryder for his help. If you are open to some techniques that may seem unfamiliar, you will likely be glad that you did!
