They will not disclose their charges for orthotics and services prior to receiving care. I have a HSA medical plan, which means that I pay first dollar coverage up to my family deductible of $4800. When I asked what the charges were gong to be, they told me I would have to wait until I got my Explanation of Benefits. I should have bailed out right then. I got my first EOB and was billed $1200 for a simple back brace and $550 for insoles for my shoes. Obviously, if I had known what I was going to be charged for these items, I never would have taken them. Lesson learned. I would suggest that anyone considering services from Chiro 1st and you have a health plan like mine, do not sign anything or authorize any product or service from them until they disclose what they are going to bill your health plan.
