I have been very happy at Bobtown Pet Clinic - I love the staff! Tammy, you are the best!
However, my dog had a horrible ear infection recently and we could not get an appointment for a month. It was horrible.
When events like this happen, I need to be able to get him in in a timely manner. I did reach out to other vets in Hudson who did have availability, so I know this issue is mainly specific to Bobtown.
At a recent visit, I was charged $48 for a $7 bag of treats. I had already opened the bag so I just paid. After researching the Purina treats at home I knew I was overcharged. When I called the front desk person initially said 'it is because of how we store the treats' before later calling me back and issuing the credit (to our account, not to me).
Again, I love the staff but for the reasons above and a few more, I am out.
One more positive - when my dogs back leg went the vet recommended a $4,000 surgery. I asked her if there were any other options for up to $1,000. She recommended red-light therapy and this ring that I got off of Amazon. After several weeks, he was walking again. Very thankful for the alternative advice.
This Vet was not at all helpful. I live within two miles of the clinic, but would not go there again. They will over-charge you for tests that are not needed and are not helpful whatsoever. You will leave the clinic with less money and an animal in no better shape than you come in with.
