I saw her for many years and she is truly a wonderful therapist. Straightforward & to the point, but very kind as well. Says what you need to hear to grow, not what you want to hear. Respects boundaries very well. She made a huge difference in my life and am very thankful I found her.

I saw her some years ago and I'm finally glad I'm able to give a review of her services. It was my first visit ever to a therapist. When I returned home from this first visit I was so upset, I called a friend who told me to "find another therapist - don't give up!". I found another wonderful therapist who wanted to know the name of my first therapist because she was clearly shocked by what I was told by Tammy Pingitore. I now know her advice was severely inappropriate~! She was authoritative and domineering. She spoke to me as though I was an idiot~! But, like my dear friend told me "Don't give up" if she's not a good "fit" for you-find another therapist quickly. Good Luck~!

I saw her for 4 years. I was thankful for my diagnosis, but no education was provided. Treatment was inappropriate for the diagnosis. Wasn't much of an ally, and was more of an authoritative figure. Didn't respect client boundaries. Be careful. When I left therapy she exhibited some narcissistic traits, such as repetitively emailing/calling and refusing to cancel my upcoming appointment with a weeks notice. For being a trauma survivor, it was scary to have this experience with a professional therapist.
