I'm very impressed with ALL Staff at this Mental Health Facility! From the people who answer the phones to Dr. Melieste. I particularly like that Dr. MELIESTE works with a Female Colleague who sees the patient 1st and then relays any Vital Info to Dr. MELIESTE so he knows immediately if there's a pressing concern. It also works well for generally stating what is going on in your life at the time of your visit. Dr. Melieste is the 3rd male Psychiatrist I've worked with since moving to GA in 2009. He is the ONLY Dr. who is empathetic and really seems to care about me. Unfortunately, that has not been the Norm that I was absolutely used to in Minnesota. I'm Grateful to have found him and I hope to be able to work with him for a few years before he retires!

I have a been a patient of Dr Gregory Melieste since 2006. He is the kindest and most thorough doctor I have ever known. I have been a patient for more than a decade and I will mourn the day Dr Melieste retires. He is AMAZING.

THE STAFF HERE IS THE WORST EVER.
Incompetent, lazy, and should not be dealing with people who are mentally fragile. Or people in general, these ladies are the absolute worst.
The doctors are fine, but by the time you finally get an appointment with one you have more mental issues than you had to begin with.
Also, they apparently tell you there's a balance on your account every single time you visit them even though you paid the same balance, four years ago...they try to trick you into paying again. It seems like a scam to me.
As an established patient, evey time I make an appointment, they make me take a new patient appointment, which pushes scheduling months out...long after I've run out of my (much needed) medication.
I like my doctor, but the staff here makes you feel like your trapped in purgatory. Just calling to make an appointment is a nightmare full of rude non-answers and frustration....and you leaving lots and lots of voicemails that might never get called back.
It makes me regret ever coming back to this Dr. (who I really like and have been seeing off and on for over a decade...it's always his staff that makes me find help elsewhere, and I always forget that until it's too late.)
Never again.

The staff is incompetent. I cancelled an appointment over 24 hours in advance and still got a bill for a missed appointment. Took time off of work to for the re-scheduled appointment and sat in the waiting room for over an hour! I went to ask what the delay was about and they had me marked down as a no show and told me they would need to reschedule because the doctor was about to go home for the day. Wish I could bill them for a missed appointment! Obviously they think my time is not very valuable. I am cancelling all future appointments and going with another provider. My counselor was good, but his staff is completely unorganized and careless.
