Dr. Whelan may be guilty of giving chiropractors a good name. She is not into gimmicks. She does not view mainstream medicine as the enemy. She does listen to her patients, spending the time to hear each one. She does not have a "one bone cracking adjustment fits all" treatment technique. Clearly, she is a knowledgeable and competent practitioner, yet she never insinuates an, "I am the doctor, listen to me," authoritarianism. Her disarming humility blending with her effective treatment results will likely convince all who seek her care that she is an asset to their network of care providers
