Do NOT go to Langley. At first I thought it was great he could get me in the office the same day that I called. That should have been the first warning!! I show up to the office fill out some basic paperwork and then the receptionist leads me back to a table that they call whirlpool therapy before I even get an assessment or consultation or anything. Then Mr Langley puts me on the adjustment table does about 3 quick cracks and says I'm done! I question him if that is really it because my back actually felt worse than when I went in there and he mumbles something and escorts me out of the room. I'm thrown an couple packets of BioFreeze and told I should come back in a couple days by the receptionist. Of course I decided by then that I did not want to go back there ever. I paid my $25 co-pay and went on my way.
The next day I did find a very nice and very helpful chiropractor in Fishers by the name of Shannon Wise. I would strongly suggest to visit him! He took my full medical history and was able to explain to me exactly what was going on with my hips, I had SI Joint Dysfunction and he was able to give me a time line of how to treat it at home as well as coming in just a few more times for readjustments and to make sure I was on the right track to recovery. I even explained what I went through at Langleys office and he was pretty appalled and was dumbfounded why he would put me on the whirlpool table before even looking at my back.
Now I get a $90 office visit fee and $30 whirlpool fee from Mr Langley, nothing was covered by insurance because unfortunately my insurance has a high deductible for any kind of physical therapy. I decide to call and see if he would work with me on this high bill considering I did not take up hardly any of his time as he was working with 4 other patients while I was in there... I did not see the $90 office fee to be justified. Instead I'm met with rude comments about how I probably walked in to some place that took cash and if I dont like his method then dont come back and he will charge me double if he likes.... sounds like a nice guy doesnt he... Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else. Also I didn't notice until I got back to work that his card says "Medical Death Investigator"..hopefully he is better with those cases than real life ones.
