Tom is one of THE most compassionate human beings I ever had the pleasure to work with in therapy. He saved my life , literally. It is a wonder that 'we' walk among human beings and stumble upon a life raft. I urge anyone to treat themselves to a genuine caring therapist and human being. God bless him...
Always late or cancelled. His office on Monroe was dirty and Tom Fransen was a mess. Worst experience I have had because he was ALWAYS late. I’ve told my doctor to suggesting him to patients.
He was always late and looked like a mess. I'm not happy that I can't get reimbursed from my health savings account because he's not licensed. I guess I've learned my lesson to check around more before seeing someone for help.
Tom is a good therapist but he is very quick to label things and jump to unsubstantiated conclusions. This labeling left me often wondering if I had been heard and I needed to go back and clarify and dispel those conclusions. Physical appearance should be the least of concerns about a therapist. But when Tom showed up with a mohawk haircut, it was a wasted session and the end of our therapist/client relationship. I absolutely could not look at him or take him seriously.
I saw him two times in October. Then he started cancelling appointments in November with just a few hours notice. Constantly sick. Took him days to get back to us. The last visit he looked like he was on something.
I was happily relieved after going through several bad therapists. I am looking forward to working through problem with him in a very comfortable, effective and affriming environment.
