We had contact with a psychologist from Children's Advantage who was assigned to see our daughter in our home. The psychologist was abrasive and confrontational. Unbeknownst to us, our daughter had undiagnosed mental illnesses, but the psychologist accused her of ulterior motives when she acted out. Our family began to dread the days that the psychologist came---she left our house in an emotional mess.
