Dr. Fisher is the best. He helped me discover and accept that I had PTSD. He saved my life but allowing me to call him when I was at the lowest point of my life. He also helped save my job when I was going to quit because I couldn't do it anymore. In the sessions he listens very patiently and then he uses what I have told him before in the past and helps me learns ways to deal with the current situation. I have had many traumas in my life and he has helped me become a healed, well adjusted person where people would never guess that I went through what I did in the past. I have been going to Dr. Fisher since 2004. It takes a lot of time to deal with huge deep issues and traumas and Dr. Fisher is the one to do that for me.

Dr. Fisher was very professional and very helpful to me. I guess there are individuals who expect the doctor to do all the work and do little or none themselves. There are also people who are disrespectful doctors. I am a professional social worker and have experienced some of these behaviors in clients, before.

Not really, sometimes I worry they're going to stop trying to help me

No. It took me several times to get through.

Dr. Jay Fisher did not help me, he failed to help me with my depression and anger issues. When I nicely told him that I would be seeing a different therapist he got angry and cussed at me and talked bad about my family. It was very disrespectful and very unprofessional of him. I do NOT recommend him.
He needed to pay a little more attention to detail, to make sure he didn't make any mistakes. I could tell his entire attention wasn't focused on me. He seemed stuck in the past. I was nervous about being exposed to archaic treatment methods. He barely gave me any information at all. I would never visit him again. I was very disappointed. I was never able to relax during my appointment. I was on edge the whole time.
