This is the worst place my wife has ever been for mental health help in her life. The business is not concerned with their patients, only their bottom line. My wife was in a hospital in College Station for an acute bipolar episode for nearly a month but her doctor at AMHG could not find one moment of time to discuss her case with the doctors at the hospital she was in even after they asked me over and over to contact him, which I did over and over. The doctor at AMHG, Dr. Fabre, would not even return my phone calls as I was frantic about my wife's condition. He could care less. When I asked them at another time after my wife was released from the hospital to fax some medical papers over to her income replacement insurance company, I had to pay them $25 for them to do it. There are a number of complaints we have with these people, they do not help their patients at all, they are just pill pushers and rude to boot. If you are sick all they'll do is want you to make an appointment even if you are in need of help immediately. You will be ignored. This is the worst mental health practice in San Antonio. Don't waste your money or your health.

The office staff doesn't seem to care about anything. They like to refer to their policies that you sign the first time that you go to their practice. Then when asking for anything outside of that you are screwed!
Come to find out if you are out of your medication they require you to pay for a perscription, what a rip off! I am finding a new Doctor.
If you would like to be charged for services that are not that great, this is the Doctor for you.

They had very flexible appointment hours and were willing to work with my schedule. I didn’t have a hard time getting an appointment at all.AS FAR AS MY DOCTOR, HE IS GREAT AND I WOULD RECOMEND DOCTOR SIMPSON ANYDAY OF THE WEEK..
WHEN IT COMES TO THE FRONT DESK I HATE CALLING OR HAVING TO CHECK IN OR MAKE ANY CONTACT WITH THEM. THEY NEED TO GET THEIR HEADS OUT OF THEIR BUTTS AND REALIZE THAT JUST BECUSE THEY CLOS THAT STUPID WINDOW, HELLO WE CAN STILL HEAR THEM.. THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE..
