If you are reading this you need Ray Estefania, he is the real deal. He is beyond competent, knowledgeable, and professional - he is truly gifted in the area of addiction treatment and intervention. Ray navigated our family through the most difficult time of our lives. When we retained him we had no idea how to handle our situation. Ray knew how to talk to our loved one who was very resistant to getting treatment, helped us set boundaries, and steered us to rehab facilities he personally vetted. He was available at every crisis/relapse and worked hard to find the best fit for our loved one, who has both mental health and addiction issues. After placement he routinely followed up with the rehab providers so he was able to anticipate and plan our next step when needed, i.e. avert a crisis. Recovery is a bumpy road and there are a lot of well-intentioned but subpar providers on the internet. You can't put a price on having an ally with Ray's integrity and experience to guide you to the right place. He has an uncommon talent for cutting through the b___sh*t. Ray cares and listens to you (even if you are rambling) and does not sugar-coat things and tell you everything will be fine - sometimes it won't be fine. But with Ray at your side you can be confident that you are doing the absolute best you can for your loved one. We are so grateful for his help and whole-heartedly recommend him for anyone who is searching for a roadmap to recovery - you will not find anyone better.

If you're looking for an expert in the field of addiction, Mr. Estefania is your person. I have known Mr. Estefania professionally for the last three years and can confidently recommend him as a kind, caring and knowledgeable professional with many many years of clinical experience, working in the field of addiction and recovery. Over the years, he has generously given his time to the community to educate parents and students alike on the risks and consequences of substance abuse. His presentations are always highly regarded by parents and students alike.

My wife and first met Ray upon a recommendation from our daughter's mental health therapist. At the time our daughter was 7 months into a substance rehabilitation program that included inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment. While in the program our daughter suffered a relapse. Our world came crashing down and we found ourselves in complete despair. It was in this dark place when we reached out to Ray for help.
I will never forget our first call with Ray. It was very apparent that he had the knowledge and expertise that we so desperately needed to help save our daughter's life. HIs guidance helped my wife and I learn new skills to help cope with our daughter's substance issues. After meeting with our daughter Ray quickly developed a plan for her and executed it flawlessly. Our daughter is now in a much better place in her life, sober and back finishing her undergraduate degree. My wife and I have hope again and I attribute this entirely to Ray. We know there could be more bumps in the road ahead of our family but we are much more confident that we will handle whatever comes our way with Ray's help. If you our your family have a loved one that suffers from addiction you need not look any further for help than Ray. I am forever indebted to him.

Ray and his staff were excellent, from start to finish. Even the receptionist who answered the phone was professional, answering all my questions except those she didn’t know. And even those questions she found out and called me back in a timely manner. All fees were said upfront, and finalized report was professional, accurate and complete. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Incredibly insightful and helpful. At the time my wife and I felt like we had PTSD and didn’t know which way to turn. Ray Estefania walked us through our options and gave us the recommendations and guidance which we would never have known about without his help. Ray was always available whenever we needed him more importantly whenever my son needed him. My son is currently doing well and is financially independent. We had to get out of his way and learn the skills to do that. The more you help the more you hurt. Only help when asked. Good luck.
Thank you Ray.

It has been my privilege to know Ray Estefania and the FRS Team for eight years. In that time, he has been instrumental in helping my family and myself on the path of recovery. He has guided me with his council and support on more than one occasion. I know he and his team sincerely care about me and my family. I am forever grateful to Ray Estefania for being there for me when I needed his help. I now have 5 years sober and I could not imagine being here without him. I cannot possibly endorse anyone more.
Thank you more than you know.

Ray Estefania is a first-class professional. We came to him when we were very worried about our daughter and he helped us with an intervention . He and his colleague Ana Moreno combined their knowledge of a customary approach with great flexibility in listening to what our daughter needed and how she was willing to participate. He offered us excellent guidance during a tough period when we were worried and unknowledgeable about how to proceed. We cannot say enough about his professionalism and kindness in dealing with us and our daughter who has gone on to do serious and productive work over the last year, coming to terms with many of her issues.

I would like to share with those whose family has been affected by the disease of addiction. Our daughter was seventeen at the time, she is now twenty-seven.

Over the years whenever a crisis manifested itself, as promised, Ray has been there for guidance. Understanding that we are dealing with a disease, not a weakness, introducing us to the various support groups, always providing us with articles explaining the nature of this disease, giving us the resources to deal with our daughter's immediate needs when they manifested, and most importantly, being at our side as we made decisions when crisis manifested itself are just some of the reasons we are filled with gratitude.

The disease of addiction is said to be a family disease. In other words, it affects the entire family. This can be very tiring and stressful. Ray has always without hesitation helped in so many ways get our family through each crisis. I can not even imagine what the journey would look like without his guidance over the last ten years. His professionalism , his understanding, his direction has enabled us to remain hopeful and strong. And also, given our daughter an opportunity to be the beautiful person she was meant to be.

We are still a family, our daughter is alive and sober, and hope remains strong in our hearts. Thank you Ray.

I have been working with Ray for the past three years. I find him to be a great fit for me and he deserves no small amount of credit for my sobriety today. He is relaxed in his approach but also firm. He sets realistic expectations, expects me to meet them, praises me when I do and helps me pick myself up when I don't. I am an adult male professional who fortunately has a supportive family as I recover from my addiction. I would highly recommend his services.

I am grateful to be joining the chorus of parents who have written to laud Ray Estefania with the praise he deserves for saving my son’s life. My son was referred to Ray and Family Recovery Specialists by his psychiatrist who believed he was addicted to pain killers, legally prescribed for a chronic, painful condition. The complicated nature of the chronic medical condition and the drug abuse, intertwined with emotional, psychological and educational issues made helping my son immensely difficult. Despite our best efforts, the various medical and mental health professionals in our life were not able to understand what our son needed or where to begin treating him.

When our son first met Ray he was 23 years old and not optimistic that Ray’s plan would work. However, the team of professionals that Ray assembled followed by placement in a Transitional Living Program handpicked by Ray, has given our son the best months of his life since he became ill.

Wishes do come true, prayers are answered and there is hope, no matter what. For my family, Ray Estefania was the one who was able to tease out the issues and deal with each one head on, placing our son on a path of health and happiness.
