Excellent facility, superior care, extremely friendly staff from the people who sign you in to the maintenance person who bids you goodnight and reminds you to drive safe.

Kindred has great on site parking and a modern, beautiful building. Too bad it wasn't designed with a central courtyard for patients and family, and as at most such facilities there is no place to hold a private conversation (all rooms appear to be doubles separated by a pull curtain). The staff, which is all that really matters, was excellent. Competent and friendly. I felt secure with a family member there. I assume that one has to be independently wealthy to afford a better place. I'm not/we're not, and Kindred seemed a cut above.

I work for a skilled nursing facility. There are times our residents will go to Kindred-Brea for continued care from the acute hospital prior to coming back to us. I visit our residents often, and when I go to to Kindred-Brea, I experience very professional staff. The nurses, social worker, and case managers keeps you updated on the care that the patient is receiving. I have witnessed the nursing staff providing care, the patient is treated with dignity at all times, and the staff will inform the patient or family member what will be done prior to treatment. I have nothing but positive comments!!! If you or a love one has been referred to Kindred-Brea, I can truly say that I believe that you will be with very caring and competent staff.
