Dr. Herz is an old school vet. Our dog had fat tumors and our previous vet wanted to operate and clean her teeth at a cost of over 3K. We received a 2nd opinion from Dr Herz and he said at her age (13) it was too risky and we should not proceed. We did not and switched to Dr Herz. Our dog lived 3 1/2 years and died naturally of old age. Dr Herz is honest and very knowledgeable and kind to animals. We highly recommend him!!!!!

We have gone to Dr Herz for 25+ years. He and his wife are old school but very knowledgeable...always on target. He doesn't do very complicated proceedures...refers to vet hospital, but with everything else, he is great and very reasonably priced. His wife works with him and is very nice. He is a little reserve...but nice as well. Have recommended him to all my friends.

He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.
