I took my cat to the Armstrong Veterinary Clinic. The cat had a compound fracture. Dr. Bridge was the Vet. He insisted on administering two inoculations. He performed a very rough physical exam of the cat (considering the cat’s bone was protruding from a hole in its leg) and informed me that he felt that the cat's leg was broken, and to be positive, he would need to take x-rays. I was presented with an x-ray of a broken leg with no obvious identifiers on it. He offered three surgery options and their subsequent pricing. I was told to make an appointment for Monday if I wanted surgery performed on the cat. I was presented with a bill for $133. The cat was prescribed antibiotics and released to me. The open wound was never cleaned nor was the leg splinted or wrapped. Throughout the exam Dr. Bridge was condescending to the point of being beyond rude. He also conducted himself in an unprofessional manner.

Dr. Bridge and his office staff are wonderful and caring. On two different occasions I felt that they went above and beyond for me and my pets. Dr. Bridge isn't the mushy gushy kind of vet (I had one of those before and found it completely annoying--they worried more about seeming like the perfect vet than the animals issues). He doens't oogle over your pet, he finds the problem and addresses it. He is VERY informative and takes his time answering questions you may have...and answers them thoroughly. I have never left his office wondering what to do or what was going on. Even in the saddest of times, he was very helpful and made me feel better. I had to put my dog of 10 years to sleep because health issues and he was very informative and gave me every possible option and outcome. He helped to ease my mind that I was doing the right thing and at the right time. Not once did I feel pressured to do anything or rushed and he always gave me every possible option. For this I thank him. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Bridge and his office to family and friends.

No way!! I would never trust him/her alone with my pet!

No, there was absolutely no grass or bushes anywhere in sight

This guy has a horrible attitude and personality. He has never interacted verbally with my pet, and the only physical contact is during the exam. I have gone to him for 9 years and he was not always this rude. He doesn't take the time to even look at the animal's file or bother to know the pets name and age. I would think that when a vet enters the exam room, he would know the patient and greet the owner and the pet. We had a horrible experience today, and he threw up his hands and walked out when my dog yelped in pain because of hip displaysia. He's more concerned with this piercings and his country music autographs. Spend the extra money to find a vet that actually likes animals.
