Dr. Kresse has been my vet for 17+ years. I had moved to St Charles and been to at least three vets who took an hour or more time to draw blood from a rather laid back golden retriever. When Dr Kresse was recommended, I remember that on my first visit, Doc had the blood drawn before I told him what a problem it would be! Over the years, I have seen him ( with Lisa's help) donate time, care, and medication to help animals that were hoarded, send supplies to help the animals of hurricanes. They have been key people in Rover Rescue, which rescues animals weekly from kill shelters who are then brought to the office, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and fostered until adopted out . I have known Doc and Lisa to rescue and care for stray animals brought in from dire situations until foster snd permanent homes are found. I believe that Lisa probably adopts out at least 500 animals on her own each year. In those years I have adopted at least four animals that they rescued. They care about animals and their owners. They are always helpful and compassionate and feel like friends after all these years! And , one last thing, Doc is a great vet! And Lisa works her magic finding homes for cats and dogs
