This veterinarian was so incredibly compassionate when my pet was sick. They consoled me when I was upset and even gave me a hug. I have had pets all my life and have never found a veterinary office this good. Once, when one of my cats was suffering from untreatable cancer and needed to be put out of his misery, Dr. Altman let me bring him in when the office was closed for lunch so that I wouldn't have to sit in the waiting rooom crying in front of a bunch of strangers.
The vets and staff here were so nice and helpful; I have already told my loved ones that they should start coming here. I was amazed at how wonderfully they treated each of their staff members. They were so appreciative and thankful. I've never seen any employer treat their staff better, and it made me want to come back that much more. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. I couldn't believe how great their office looked. It was very obvious that they took pride in the office's appearance. It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen.
It's actually all the way across town from my home, but I've taken my cats (and other people's dogs) to Dr. Altman for more than 30 years. Dr. Altman was the first vet to study acupuncture and use it for pain relief on animals. It seems to work. Surprised me because I'm skeptical about "alternative" therapies.
