I have used Shoreline for emergency care several times and have been happy with their services and cost. Saturday was an exception. I was told that my cats injuries were much worse than they actually were. They recommended surgery that was triple what my usual vet would charge for the same proceedure and totally unnecessary according to the vet I took my cat to on Monday. The charges to clip a little fur from the cat to see the injury was outrageous as was the charge to give him a little saline - both were in the $65 range. The office charge was $135 which I consider fair and the rabies was $ 45 which is also reasonable. I didn't mind paying the $ 5+ for waste disposal. I still recommend Shoreline Animal Emergency Clinic, just think through suggested treatment before you buy.
