All I can say is my poor, poor puppy. After getting a typical spay, she had an incision that 2-3x what I would expect for a puppy of her size. She was severly dehydrated and her incision appeared as if it was made my Edward Scissorhands. I was astonished when I called to ask questions but only heard "she had a normal" procedure. That was not true. After calling a family friend and Vet, who said quote "I have seen hundreds of spays and c-sections and never as terrible as John Calhoun's" "He should be embarassed by his surgical skills". Red flag! Stay away. After my 4th call of trying to understand why her incision was terrible, guilt set in and he called to apologize. Our 5 month old puppy is still hurting and I want to go back in time... I will never set foot in this vet's office again and I hope you do the same.
