I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to my situation and understand where I was coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about me or what I had been through. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. I will never take my animals here again, nor will I recommend this hospital to anyone. I don't want anyone else to experience what I went through. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. I did not feel safe at all in their care. I definitely had doubts about their qualifications. They are far more concerned about making money than caring for animals. They refused to fill my cat's prescription unless we took him in for another $800 worth of tests, even though they had already ran numerous tests and charged us $400, and the medication was improving his condition. When we told them we could not afford the $80 tests, they asked if we had any friends that had money. Totally callous and inappropriate. We begged and pleaded, but they refused to prescribe the medication. They made us wait two whole days as the cat's condition deteriorated until we finally agreed to make an appointment although we could not afford it. Once the appointment was made, they refilled the prescription until Thursday, the date of the appointment. Our cat passed away yesterday, as a result of their greed and negligence. Using someone's sick pet as leverage to make money is truly low and despicable. I have already alerted the SPCA, and I hope to see this place shut down before another pet dies.

Dr Braz-Ruivo has helped my older rescue dog continue to live a full life far longer than I thought would be possible. He is a kind person - my dog (who's scared of men - we believe b/c of some previous trauma) ADORES him - took right to him. When my dog was having problems - he was INCREDIBLY responsive - even replied to an email on CHRISTMAS EVE! I trust him completely and recommend him enthusiastically.

Not at all, they are always so organized here with making sure the vet is never too overwhelmed to ensure the best service
