Definitely the best vet in town! Dr. Cooper knows his stuff and is always very attentive and compassionate. I've had a couple emergency situations where I had no trouble getting in or having important questions answered either by the staff or doctor.

I now know, after seeing a legitimate vet, that due to the lack of care here and the shelter my pet came from, who also receives care from this vet, that one of my ferrets is very sick with insulinoma. I tried to say it was from the bad diet the shelter feeds. I was told I had to clue what I was talking about. I was also able to diagnose an enlarged spleen on my own, contested by Dr. Kern, confirmed by the vet I moved on to. I am just not satisfied. He tells me things to just get me out of his office. But then I have to keep coming back because the diagnosis is not right. My new vet has him under great care now.

I must say, I am not a fan of this place. Yes, their office is clean and their staff is nice. My problem is, they are not thorough. How is it that I can palpate my animal and feel that their adrenal glad or spleen is swollen, but Dr. Kern says they are just fine? Why is it that suddenly a bacteria one visit is a virus the next without you even testing to find out? I can't stand when people half-ass me. Not going here ANYMORE.
