They always make an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. They always listen to every question or concern I may have. I was skeptical at first to begin therapy but after our session I felt relieved. They really helped me to understand others point of view. I know I can always count on them. was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time.
Soon after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I began hypnotherapy sessions with Karen S. Kiefer at a friend's recommendation. I abandoned my sessions with Kiefer after she told me (and I kid you not!) that I could quite literally "think" my cancer away through hypnotherapy and prayer, and that choosing not to do so was tantamount to suicide! She said some incredibly mean-spirited things to me when I told her I would be ending the sessions, and I left her office in tears. Today I am cancer-free and healthy thanks to proper care and counseling, but I felt compelled to speak here because I was (and remain) highly offended by her behavior. I could never in good conscience recommend her to anyone.
One area of improvement that this business is in dire need of is revamping their building to make it more handicap-accessible. It seemed extremely out-of-date and a little unsafe as well. Most of the time, they don't call me back for quite a while, but they've called me back quickly once or twice. I did not find the therapy effective here in helping my partner and I understand each others point of views and we never established any middle ground throughout our session. We left frustrated and confused. My appointments get canceled here a lot. I usually just go to someone else in the area because I can't count on them ever.
