My experience with Dr Green has been very positive. I have a hernia disk and was referred to Dr Green as an alternative to surgery. I had a nerve block and received some relief. After 2 more blocks my pain was gone. I found him to be very compassionate and caring about my pain. I have seen Dr Green at least 5 times and his care and bedside manner has been consistent. I highly recommend him for pain management.

I would definitely echo what the first reviewer said. I was referred to Dr. Green with my having four herniated discs. It was a very lengthy time before he would do even the first block for me. Each time my labs were "irregular" and he wouldn't do the block. After my third visit to him, he referred me to a hematologist where I had to spend a considerable amount of money for blood work in order to get clearance for the block. Upon the last visit when the block was done, I still had to go through the lab tests at their facility before he would do the block. East Memphis Surgery Center told me what the fee would be and I paid the amount at the visit that was to be my total portion of the bill. However, the amount of the bill increased by over $300 so I ended up being billed even more. I wasted time away from work, as well as, the individual who drove me each time because that was a requirement. I will not and do not recommend Dr. Green, nor East Memphis Surgery Center for any medical treatment.

I'm forced to give at least one star for this review. Otherwise, there would be no stars. My advice is take two aspirin and call another doctor and use another facility.

Dr. Green is a physician that does not need to be in the pain management field. Perhaps he needs to find another field. He has the compassion of a rattlesnake. There are many people in chronic pain. People that hurt 24 hours a day. Not all of us are drug addicts. I have NEVER abused my pain medicine because I don't want to become addicted. I was made to feel that I was a "druggie". Firstly, He only wanted to prescribe meds that would not help me. When will the medical community understand chronic pain? It is very humiliating to feel that no one believes you. His staff was also very rude. They tried to make everyone feel that they were doing us a favor to be there. We (patients) are human beings just trying to make every day life a little better. I gave Dr. Green many chances. DO NOT GO TO this doctor if you are looking for compassion. I could go on and on but I think future patient will get the hint. I mean no disrespect, just writing about my experience for at least a year of being his patient. However, there is good news. There are doctors out there that do care and will help you. Keep looking. It took me many years to find someone that is compassionate and made me feel that I deserved respect as a person that is in chronic pain. I pray for all that are in pain. My prayers are with you.
