Another reviewer put it best. STEER CLEAR! I have been taking my dog to this 'vet' for a year for chiropractic adjustments to my dog. ZERO problems until today.... when she did not adjust my dog. I have been trying for over a week to get him in for an emergency session, and he is clearly in pain and discomfort. Again, she has adjusted him for a year and today for some reason, she does not do an adjustment because he is in pain and she does not want to cause more pain. She gave him muscle relaxers and pain medication, so logic says that a quick adjustment should have been performed right?!?! Instead she just lets him stay in a crate all day and then proceeded to charge me $160 for an exam, pain meds, and other junk fees. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided and I wish that I had read these reviews a year ago, or even since March, when she had her latest negative review. Take my advice people...it's all smoke and mirrors. She should have adjusted my dog today, rather than treat both my dog and myself with disrespect and non service. My dog is still in pain and discomfort and she could have helped him today. I will make sure to leave a negative review anywhere she is listed to warn the public, as many of these other reviews are doing the same.

I had booked an appointment for my dog in December for January because they said that they didn't have any appointments available until then, so I took it. First, let me mention that I was referred to them by a friend, who had taken his dog to this vet and that there was no charge for his dogs first appt/exam, so when I called, I spoke to Caroline and mentioned to her that I was referred to this vet by my friend and explained to her "He mentioned that there was no charge for his dogs initial exam, and I just wanted to make sure that the first visit/exam was free.?" She said, "YES." So as I was told that it was free, you'd be surprised by my response, when I took my dog and after the visit, they said, "okay your total is $76." And I said, "wait a minute, what, Caroline told me that it was free for the first visit/exam and I don't mind paying for the meds for my dog (which were $26), but why is there an exam fee all of sudden?" And the girls at the desk looked confused and then Caroline comes to me and says, "I never said that." And I said, "yes, you did. I specifically asked you about the first visit/exam being free and you said, YES that there was no fee." I also explained to her my friend who brought his dog here didn't have to pay an exam fee for his first visit which is also what I asked you, and you said that it was FREE." The odd thing is, she also pulled his chart and said that there was a fee that was paid by him. Regardless, I asked her when I made the appointment in December and she confirmed then and there that there was no fee for the first visit. And as un-professional as she was, she proceeds to argue with me and says, "No, you misunderstood." And as frustrated as I already was, I knew arguing with a brick wall wasn't going to help, much less arguing with her, so I just gave up, paid them and left. I mean, my dog was diagnosed with cancer and the vet tells me there's nothing that she can do and i just wasn't in the mood to argue with this LIAR anymore. So I went home and called my friend whom referred her and explained to him what had happened and he was just as surprised and called them and they said that he paid on that date for his dogs first visit. He even showed me his bank statement from the dates of service they say he was charged on from so called Compassionate Care Veterinary Services, and it wasn't there. My friend doesn't use cash and only uses his debit card, so the staff at this veterinary office lied not to just me but to him too. Overall, I think the vet was ok. She was nice, but it was a waste of money because all she did was look at my dog, feel her belly and diagnosed her with cancer and that there was nothing I could do. Although she did provide me a recipe list of food I could make my dog, but I could honestly say that, that was the only positive and informing part of my experience with this office. I was and still am very disappointed in my visit because I whole heartedly feel that they used my grief, sadness and concern about my baby against me by just trying to get me in the door by lying to me and assuring me that there was no fee for the first visit/exam and that the vet was amazing and then BAM, they got me at the end of the visit when I was even more sad about my dogs diagnosis. So I must say, that whomever goes to this vet, beware of the staffs integrity… oh and so called Compassion. Oh and as the below reviewer, Rachel mentioned, if I could I would give lower than one star if it was an option.

I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them. The examining rooms at Compassionate Care Veterinary Svcs's office were immaculate. I have been going here with my pets and rescue dogs for over 2 years and I love everyone there. (If someone wants a bigger "waiting room" then they can go find one somewhere else and help pay for it too.) Thank you Compassionate Care for all you do!
