The other day our dog was bitten by a rattlesnake. I called the animal hospital closest to our house and they instructed us to come here, to the Countryside Animal Hospital, where they had anti venom on hand. When I arrived I was instructed to wait for the technician to finish her phone call. As if that wasn't enough when dealing with a time sensitive matter, she began a long-winded lecture explaining that they would not treat him because they were unable (or unwilling) to monitor him overnight. Clearly the staff was not concerned with his well-being. If you value your pets life avoid this so-called "hospital" at all costs, especially when faced with an emergency. I would advise taking them to the small animal hospital at the University of Florida where they value the life of your pet as much as you do.

I have been using this office for 13 or 14 years now. They are awesome. When I went to Tenn from Fla with my dog to visit a friend in a nursing home, they faxed my dog's records for me so he could come in, too. Dr. Stine has awesome stories and Dr. Trish is the most compassionate vet I have ever met. They have provided excellent care to all of our animals.

I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. Dr. Stine has been the best for my dogs.The chairs in their waiting room were comfortable. They were so informative, and thoroughly answered every single question I had regarding pet care. This veterinarian was compassionate when my pet was sick. I can tell that they really cared about my pet's well-being and reassured me that things would be alright.
