My dogs are loved like my own children! This practice is the only one my husband and I trust to see our babies! We drive over an hour to make sure our pets are treated by the best!

We were on vacation when our 18 year old daughter called us hysterical because our two bull terriers got into it and one was bleeding badly. Although our daughter is responsible she didn't have experience with bloody injuries. After calming our daughter down we called American Animal Care and told them the situation. Our daughter simply drove our dog over to the facility and was met at her car to bring our dog in and the staff took over from there, simply telling our daughter to come back in 4 hours. Our dog had two head wounds and was stitched up beautifully. Our daughter was given a prescription on the spot and left with big smiles. We came home from vacation and our dog was in great shape. I have been taking my pets here for a long time. Price is reasonable and Dr. is very smart. I have a chihuahua that is red and itchy all over her body. So I took her to a clinic near my house and the vet there kept saying she has allergies with food. So, he injected her with something and kept making us buy ScienceDiet. My chihuahua hates Science Diet. Every time we were there, he charged us over $100 per visit and her symptoms doesn't get any better. I took her to Firestone Animal Hospital and we found out she has skin mites. Her medications and visit was less than what I paid at the other Vet and after two weeks of sponge bath, she was well.

Dr. Sal is awesome! Caring and compassionate, his love of animals is obvious. My first experience was so great, I've been coming back for all my vet needs. One group of kittens I took in were experiencing a horrendous bout of uncontrollable, nasty diarrhea, and he kept them at the clinic for 3 weeks to get them well, And it didn't break the bank, either! (They've fully recovered, btw). I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sal. And the rest of the staff are all friendly and helpful. This clinic isn't that close to my home (several vets are closer), but I keep going because of the quality of care and the true love of animals everyone there has.

I always have the best experience every time I have an appointment here. Although I have not had much to complain about, I have noticed that they strongly adhere to the customer is always right policy and if anything goes wrong make every effort to correct the situation. This veterinarian was so compassionate when my pet was sick. I can tell that they really cared about my pet's well-being and reassured me that things would be alright. They were easy to reach in an emergency. When I called they answered right away and I was so relieved to hear a friendly voice. The kennels and holding area for pets were so clean and spotless, I would recommend them for sure if you need to leave your pet for a few days. They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously.

I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. They made sure that their qualifications were obvious. I was confident that I was under the care of a professional.

Thank you for taking car of my new kitty. I was dreading getting her De-clawed and but the office made me feel at ease and they took great car of my cat and I very much appreciate it.

Best animal hospital in CA? I do not know about that, but I would bet money American Animal Care is one of the best. Dr. Salwan is wonderful! She is so caring about each of her patients, I feel grateful to have such a compassionate veterinarian in the area.

American is the best pet care place. The boarding services are wonderful, I trust no one else to take care of my pup when we have to leave town. The staff is great and I know I have left Sugar in good hands.

You all offer exactly what I was looking for in a veterinarian. Dr. Salwan is gentle and wonderful with my old guy. I think the prices are fair, the staff is amazing and the wait is minimal. Highly Recommend you all!
